Secretary General of AREL. An economist by training, he has held positions at various institutions. In particular, he served as a member of the Italian Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks and Environment (ARERA), as Chair of the European network of water regulators, and as Coordinator of NARS at the Interministerial Committee for Economic Planning and Sustainable Development (CIPESS, formerly CIPE). He currently oversees international relations at GSE and chairs the UNECE Committee on Sustainable Energy and OMEC’s Committee on Strategy and International Cooperation. He is Adjunct Professor at Sapienza University of Rome in the Management Engineering program. He is the author of numerous publications on energy and climate.
