The AREL seminar, Climate Change and Adaptation Policies, explored the topic of climate change adaptation strategies and the main critical issues related to the environmental, economic and social impacts of global warming. It was moderated by Alberto Biancardi (AREL). Speakers: Roberta Boscolo (World Meteorological Organization) and Sergio Castellari (National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology).

The seminar analysed the main scientific data on the evolution of climate change, the adaptation policies currently being discussed at European and national level, and the possible measures to be taken to strengthen the resilience of territories, infrastructures and economic systems to the effects of extreme climate events.
