In 2026, Arel will celebrate its fiftieth anniversary, a milestone that marks half a century of commitment to political, institutional and cultural debate in Italy and Europe. Founded as a space for analysis, discussion and training, Arel has contributed over time to promoting long-term reflection on economic, social and institutional transformations, bringing together the academic world, public decision-makers, businesses and civil society.
To celebrate the anniversary, the Association will adopt a dedicated logo and promote a series of initiatives throughout the year, designed not only to commemorate its history and the figures who have marked its journey, but also to showcase its current projects and future priorities. The aim is to reaffirm Arel’s role as a laboratory of ideas and a place of independent thinking, capable of accompanying the public debate on the major European and global challenges of the coming years.
